Khamargachi Private ITI maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against ragging in any form — physical, verbal, or psychological. The institute is committed to ensuring every trainee studies in an environment free of intimidation, humiliation, or harassment by seniors or peers.

What counts as ragging
- Any act causing physical or psychological harm, fear, shame or embarrassment to a fresher or junior trainee
- Forcing a trainee to perform tasks they wouldn't otherwise do
- Verbal abuse, teasing, or discrimination based on year, trade, gender or background
- Any form of physical assault or threat, on or off campus
How to report ragging
- Use the confidential Complaint Box installed outside the Administrative Office
- Speak to the Front-Office Student Counsellor for immediate assistance
- Contact the ICC Presiding Officer — reachable via the ICC / Vishaka Committee page
- In an emergency, contact Balagarh Police Station directly
