Introduction to electricity, electrical safety precautions, basic electrical terms (work, power, energy), and measuring instruments.

Use and maintenance of hand tools (fitting, carpentry), electrical materials, accessories, and sheet-metal work.

Domestic, commercial, and industrial wiring methods, testing and installation techniques, illumination systems, and earthing.

Study, repair, and maintenance of AC/DC machines, motors, chokes, coils, and transformers.
